Amy’s interest in design was ignited when she moved to London as a teenager. Upon graduating from the American School in London, she returned to her native Texas and received a design degree from The University of Texas in Austin. After college, Amy moved to NYC, joined Geoffrey Beene and worked alongside Alber Elbaz, of subsequent Lanvin fame. Her work at Beene led to a design position at Oscar de la Renta. Learning under iconic and influential designers emboldened Amy to start her own fashion line when she moved to Chicago to marry her college sweetheart. Amy’s business took her to Los Angeles several times a year and allowed her to build a loyal and celebrity-based LA clientele.
In 2013, Amy and her husband moved to LA with their three children. Moving from design into real estate is a natural professional progression for Amy as it not only allows her to continue to help clients achieve their aesthetic lifestyle goals but connects her with the family real estate business. At the urging of her close friend and super agent, Jenna Cooper, Amy joined Jenna’s team and is currently helping families and investors identify and acquire the ideal property.
Outside of real estate and design, Amy serves on the Board of Trustees for P.S. Arts, which brings art education and art classes to children in underserved public schools in the greater Los Angeles area. In her free time, Amy enjoys hiking, yoga, cooking, designing, and spending time with her family and friends here in LA.
